• Keep a worry journal.
Many times thoughts and thinking will keep us from relaxing and getting to sleep. Try keeping a small notebook next to you with a pen and when thinking or thoughts persist write them down using a book light or another source of dim light. Writing them down will help to forget about them and allow for a peaceful sleep onset.

Why is Cookware Important?
Proper cookware will reduce cooking times, use less energy and cook food more evenly.
When choosing cookware, consider five factors: material, flatness, size, gauge and balance.
Today we will focus on flatness.
Since heat is transferred from cooktop to pan by conduction, there needs to be good contact. To determine if pans have a flat, smooth bottom try:
Ruler Test
• Place the edge of a ruler across the bottom of the pan.
• Hold up to the light.
• No light should be visible under the ruler. Cooking Test
• Put 1 inch of water into the pan.
• Place the pan on the cooking area. Turn control to the Hi setting.
• Observe the bubble formation. If the bubbles are uniform across the pan, the pan will perform satisfactorily. If the bubbles are not uniform, the bubbles will indicate the hot spots.

Why do some clothing dealers suggest washing clothes inside out?
In the washer, the clothes often turn inside out during the agitation cycle. Turning the clothes inside out first may be easier on the clothing. It helps limit abrasion on the "good" side of the fabric, reducing "pilling" and extending the life of some fabrics such as corduroy. In addition, any embroidery, decals, and so on are better preserved. It should not affect the performance of the cleaning action to have the clothes inside out during wash.
